Congratulations!

You are now ready to start enjoying your Second Life^®.  Here are some important things to understand as you start:

• When you log in for the first time, you will need to read and agree to the "Terms Of Service" and the "Community Standards" which are your agreements with Linden Lab, the makers of Second Life^®.
  
• You will then be presented with a choice of whether you want your avatar - which is your "character" within Second Life^® - to be male or female.
  
• Your avatar will then appear on Virtual Ability island, at the start of a training course that will show you, step by step, how to walk, fly, communicate, and perform the other essential tasks of this exciting new world.
  
• You can proceed through the training course at whatever speed you want.  In fact, there is no requirement that you even go on the training course at all.
   
• You can log out any time you want, and when you log back in, your avatar will be right where it left off.
